A card game for EYFS and / or KS1.
There are 5 sets of animal cards.
Each sheet has 12 pictures or words on them related to the 12 animals.
Sheet
1 - Colour pictures of the 12 animals to cut out
2. Pictures of the animals for children to colour in and cut out
3. Pictures with animal names on to colour in and cut out
4. Pictures of the animals with speech bubbles - children write in the sounds the animals make, colour in and cut out
5. Word cards shoing the sounds the animals make - children can write underneath the words and / or add a picture, then cut out
When playing the game, there are 5 cards to match for each animal.
This works well as a class or team effort, with children having roles such as colouring in, writing, and cutting out and then playing the matching game.
This resource is an Exploration of Baby and Parent Animals using 10 black and white worksheets. Each worksheet showcases a different baby animal alongside its parent.
